• Location: 7.5 Location was very central (shopping and bars). The metro station was also close to the hostel.

• Room: 7.5 Nice and clean. Not shared room therefor privacy was given.
• Value for money: 10 Really nice hostel for that value. Its more like a hotel than a hostel.

• Quietness: Not rated FRiday night was SO NOISY. Because it was Marzo, the room air conditioning was not ON. If I closed the windows, there was no air moving in the room.

• Negative: the bedroom didn't have tea or coffee facilities for me to make a cuppa, and I also found the room just a little bit smoky smelling

• Cleanliness: 5 the hotel itself was very clean, and so were the rooms but they could feel a bit fresher - my room smelt quite "smoky" and the decoration was very dark, which made it feel less fresh
• Location: 10 Amazing location right in the thick of the buzz and life of Madrid, in the lovely literary quarter surrounded by lots of tapas bars and restaurants... really quaint little streets coming off the plaza and I felt very safe here
• Common facilities and services: 5 Nice and good quality
• Staff: 10 Lovely staff, really friendly and helpful, and very kind
• Quietness: 2.5 It was actually quite noisy - I could hear everything coming from other rooms. However, this personally didn't bother me that much, though it might bother some people if they want some privacy
• Room: 5 It was a cute little single room, but my only complaint is that it felt a little too closed in with not much space, and there weren't any coffee and tea facilities in the room. there was also a musty, smoky smell in the room, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but there was nonetheless a nice homely and quaint feel to the room, and I liked being there.
• Value for money: 7.5 Excellent value for money
