• Positive: I spent a wonderful 3 nights at the Hotel Argantonio and I would have to say that it was the friendliness of the staff which impressed me most. They were very helpful, even with the most trivial of requests. I loved the hotel itself which had a great deal of character and was more to my liking than the modern square boxes which are the norm in most big hotels today. The breakfast on offer was of an excellent quality.

• Common facilities and services: 5 We did not stay in the hotel itself as it was fully booked. But stayed in one of their apartments across the street.

• Quietness: 5 The apartment was in a residential block so there was plenty of living noise and whoever was practicing their trumpet should not give up their day job! Also there was a constant intermittent droning noise coming from a cupboard next to the lift which could be heard throughout the apartment particularly at night.
• Room: 5 The apartment had the feel that it needed to be finished. The smell of drains was quite strong when you entered the apartment.
