Now a comfortable and friendly hotel and restaurant, this historic chateau from the 14th century was originally built as a fortress by knights returning from the Crusades. The chateau is a connoisseur’s paradise, filled with priceless antiques and collections of paintings. To visit here is to stay in a magnificent private mansion with echoes of each past generation. Statues stand in corridors, and intriguing trinkets are on display. Bedrooms and suites are named after historical personalities, and are furnished accordingly. The kitchen is in the capable hands of Boris Campanella, who can concoct an intriguing menu of delicious regional dishes. Stroll through the park, relax on the terrace or in the swimming pool, and take plenty of time to explore this delightful region. The chateau has 15 luxury rooms, and 5 suites and apartments.
