• Positive: Location for a first time visit to Madrid -- near a lot of tourist attractions. Convenience to subway.
• Negative: Room was too warm probably due to radiant heat from other rooms (outdoor temperatures were typically cool for late fall).

• Cleanliness: 10 Definitely clean but why do maids take hours to complete the cleaning of the room? They remove towels but don%27t replace for several hours.
• Location: 10 Perfect for a first time visit, but would likely stay elsewhere when not wanting all the standard tourist attractions.

• Quietness: 5 We expected the noise from the square and were not at all displeased - we made the decision to stay there knowing about it. Windows cut most of the noise. Unfortunately, heating system was too warm for us and we had to keep windows open to cool the room.
• Room: 7.5 Decent size for a budget room in Europe and with adequate storage. Little balcony looking out on Puerta del Sol - great!
