• Quietness: 7.5 although room overlooked a busy road the noise intrusion was minimal on the 5th floor.
• Room: 10 spacious, modern
• Value for money: 7.5 paid slightly more to have a modern hotel, well located, and also with rooftop swimming pool

• Positive: Very central - easy walking distance to most areas plus close to metro. Spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful - recommended! I would class it as superior, but no breakfast.

• Cleanliness: 10 The rooms were serviced daily - unless otherwise requested
• Location: 10 2 mins walk from Las Ramblas and Metro underground stations. 15 mins by metro to Sangrada de Familia and 5 mins by metro to the port.
• Common facilities and services: 10 Modern reception area and all communal areas were spotless. Outdoor pool area had a wheelchair lift so the disabled could access the pool. Great facilities for the disabled - could not fault it.
• Staff: 10 The multi lingual staff were extremely helpful and did their best to accomadate our requests. We asked to change a twin disabled room (all disabled rooms are twins) into a double and they did with no trouble. Always helpful and pleasant.
• Quietness: 5 On the 2nd floor we could hear (slightly) the metro, but that is expected in this location. Once guests accept its there, it is no problem. Hotel Jazz has done its best to minimise the noise and all hotels/cafes/restaurants in that area have the same noise level. The Metro runs till approx 00.00 weekdays and later on weekends.
• Room: 10 Rooms were clean, comfortuble with modern facilities. 2 english tv channels and other language channels available. Lots of hot water and clean towels. Our room was a disabled room and had plenty of space for active wheelchair users. All the facilities for the diabled were of high quality.
• Value for money: 10 This was well worth average £100 GBP per room/per night, and we would recommend to anyone. We are booking again for Sept 2010 (now Feb 2010). it is hard to find good hotels for an active wheelchair user and this is excellant. WELL WORTH A VISIT!!
